I trained for and completed my first Spartan Race in 2012 and I have been an Obstacle Course Racing enthusiast ever since.

I believe what we do in one area of our lives we do elsewhere. Obstacle Course Racing builds grit, resilience, and self-efficacy.

Spartan Edge K12

I have been contributor for the Spartan Education initiative - Collaborating to build and share curriculum, work with teachers, and coach students on building a strong & positive mindset about taking on challenges.

School Obstacle Challenge Events

I partnered with the PE Department at Tenafly Middle School and local obstacle/crossfit coaches to prototype two obstacle fitness events - Wellness Day Obstacle Course (May 2019) and TMS Veterans Day Obstacle Challenge (Nov 2019). In Dec 2019 we received a grant to work with more local schools to bring obstacle fitness experiences to students!
